An upbeat, summery song about a nice slice of tour life.

Sarah recorded and mixed ‘Swims And Shows’ in her studio after writing it while on the road during her 'Go Away' tour. It includes layers of Vocal harmonies, Arch top guitar, Rhodes, Organ bass, Maracca, Rain stick, Guiro, natural bird sounds & her cat Bowie purring into the mic at the end of a vocal take.

When I got to the pub well I thought I’m going in for a swim
Just before I will set up my mic so I can play and sing with the arvo sun in my face

What a deep blue ocean view with dolphin fins gliding past
On our way to the bottom of the bay we raced and
both came last as we strolled on down the garden path 

Ooh what a day for swims and shows
and playing music in my salty clothes

Would you like an ice cold beer why yes I would cheers!
We’ve been driving up the coast today and it is melting hot
even with the windows open all the way

Then we partied at a house with a barby and ate their garden greens
Then we heard all the morning birds so I decided to go
and leave the threesome scene all alone
